London won the bid to host the Games with a commitment to 5 legacies:

4. Delivering a sustainable Games and developing sustainable communities.
5. Showcasing London as a diverse, creative and welcoming city.

Delivering these five legacies will take a huge amount of effort and commitment not only from the Olympic Committees, Government bodies and the big sponsors but from everyone who lives and works here. Every visitor will need to travel, sleep, eat and meet here during their time in London. This is a massive logistical exercise and the better prepared you are the easier it will be to deliver a warm welcome.
